Visa-exempt entry
Indian passport holders visiting for tourism can enter without a visa for the period set by the Thai government. You still need to meet general entry conditions. Immigration officers can ask for proof of onward travel and sufficient funds, and they can refuse entry even when the exemption applies.
If you need to stay longer
If you plan to stay beyond the visa-exempt period, or if your purpose is not tourism, apply for a visa in advance. Indian citizens can apply for the Thai e-Visa online through the official Thai e-Visa website. Traditional applications are made at the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi or the consulates-general in Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card
Travellers entering Thailand are expected to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before arrival. Check the official TDAC website for the current process and any requirements.
