The Sri Lanka ETA government fee has been waived for Indian passport holders since September 2024 under a SAARC tourism exemption (subject to change by the Sri Lankan government) — however the ETA itself is still mandatory before boarding. It is valid for an initial 30-day stay, extendable up to 90 days (and further in some cases) at the Department of Immigration.
